Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Director-level Finance Controller to lead financial control, governance and reporting across a global business. You will drive transformation initiatives, partner with cross-functional teams and shape processes that scale with growth.

The role focuses on statutory reporting, external audits, and building a high-performing, global team while delivering value through automation and improved controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
• Experience leading financial control in a complex global organisation.
• Strong governance, compliance and delivery standards.
• Experience with statutory reporting and external audits.
• Experience managing global teams through change.
• Knowledge of subscription-based or asset-based revenue models would be advantageous.
• Experience with ERP implementations and finance transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results with strong financial stewardship.
• Oversee balance sheet governance, including reconciliations, substantiation and complex accounting matters.
• Manage billing, accruals, deferred revenue and partner-share arrangements to support accurate reporting.
• Own the financial control framework, drive controls and governance in a growing business.
• Lead a geographically dispersed financial control team and partner with auditors.
• Drive automation and standardisation of reporting and accounting processes.
