Job summary

Hult International Business School in London seeks a proactive Financial Analyst to join the Finance team. Based at the Chelsea office, you will collaborate with a dynamic, international group and gain hands-on operational finance experience in a fast-moving global business.

Early on you will oversee outsourced accounting work, ensure accuracy of entries, perform reconciliations, and contribute to reporting, closing, and analyses that improve efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years work experience in Accounting, Audit, or other Finance roles.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking with data-driven problem solving.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional language is a plus.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review the work of our outsourced accounting team on general accounting entries and core processes.
• Ensure the accuracy of technical accounting entries, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and revenue recognition.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Prepare financial reporting and financial analyses.
• Support the financial close, audit, and preparation of the financial statements.
• Support the management team on analyses and projects that improve efficiency, revenue, and profitability.
