Job summary

Uniguest is seeking a Financial Accountant in the United Kingdom to lead statutory accounting, VAT and tax compliance, and audit coordination across multiple entities in EMEA and AP regions. The role requires strong accounting technical knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work with internal stakeholders and external advisors across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of VAT, Tax & Audit experience.
• Experience with multicurrency consolidation for statutory UK reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience coordinating external audits.
• Understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate annual statutory financial statements for multiple entities.
• Ensure local statutory filings across UK/EMEA/AP are compliant.
• Liaise with external accountants, tax advisors and secretarial providers.
• Manage audit planning, timelines and deliverables across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate VAT/GST returns and indirect tax filings.
• Support insurance renewals and risk management reporting.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes and regional reporting.
