Job summary

Macquarie Asset Management seeks a senior financial controller to lead the financial control function across key areas, partnering with senior stakeholders to provide insights for decision-making and governance of UK regulated entities.

You will oversee performance fee recognition, month-end close, audits and tax matters, and collaborate with offshore teams while developing and mentoring team members across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years ACA/CA PQ experience in financial controllership, reporting or accounting.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear communication to senior levels.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience applying IFRS, IAS 28, IFRS 9 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial control function for key areas within Macquarie Asset Management.
• Oversee performance fee recognition, valuations and impairment assessments.
• Ensure governance of UK regulated entities; month-end close, audits and tax matters.
• Engage with portfolio companies and senior stakeholders to provide insights.
• Develop and mentor team members; collaborate across EMEA, India, the Americas and Australia.
