Role & Responsibilities

As a global finance business partner, you will oversee cost controlling and partner with Fujifilm Biotechnologies' global cost areas, focusing on IT, Quality, and Science & Innovation. You will be integral to budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and financial planning, ensuring alignment with company objectives and identifying cost optimization opportunities. Your role involves collaboration and data transparency to drive performance, accountability, and guidance on governance processes.

• Be a Strategic Partner: Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for global cost areas, ensuring alignment with objectives and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Global Cost Controlling: Lead cost control for global IT, Quality, and Science & Innovation, working closely with the Global IT Finance Business Controller and liaising with all FDB sites for data accuracy.
• Global Capex Project Controlling: Manage cost control of global capex projects, especially in IT, supporting project governance and ensuring accurate budgeting and accounting.
• Drive Performance with Data: Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights for data-driven decision-making, fostering transparency and accountability among cost owners.
• Tell the Story Behind the Numbers: Prepare and present reports and analyses, translating complex data into clear insights for leadership.
• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance finance processes, systems, and tools for better accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master’s degree in Finance or Economics
• 5+ years in Business Finance Partnering, FP&A, or Business Controlling within a large global organization
• Professional Accounting Certification (CPA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.)
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions
