Mission/Purpose of the Job: The Field Service SHE Manager will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety, health, and environmental programs across our field service operations. This role requires a collaborative leader who can work with decentralized teams and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support SHE Programs: Assist in the design and execution of SHE programs tailored to field service operations.
  2. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure field activities comply with local, national, and international SHE regulations. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
  3. Training and Development: Provide training and resources to field service teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  4. Incident Management: Assist in investigations into SHE incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report SHE performance metrics.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with field service Ops managers, clients, regulatory bodies, and divisional teams to ensure SHE standards are met.
  7. Emergency Response: Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans for field operations.
  8. Sustainability Initiatives: Promote sustainability initiatives within field operations to minimize environmental impact.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of SHE management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a field service or similar environment.
  3. Relevant SHE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of SHE regulations and best practices.
  5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Scope of the Job:

  1. Geographical Scope: The role is regional in scope, overseeing SHE programs within specific regions.
  2. Interaction Skills: Requires excellent interaction skills to collaborate with decentralized teams, field service operations managers, clients, regulatory bodies, and divisional teams.
  3. Internal and External Factors: Align with the company's vision and goals, support regional strategies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in SHE practices.
  4. Pattern of Work Cycle: Involves planning, priority setting, and coordinating SHE programs, leading projects, and conducting risk assessments and audits.
  5. Money Measures: Responsible for managing an annual budget related to SHE programs.
  6. Travel Requirements: Moderate travel is expected, with a 30-50% split between travel and office-based duties.
  7. People: Oversee and support Regional SHE Managers, ensuring consistent application of SHE policies and practices across regions.
