Job summary

UK Animal Welfare Charity seeks a Project Manager to oversee planning, communication, implementation and delivery of strategically valuable projects within a global Technology Transformation Programme reporting to the Senior PM. It is a hybrid role based in East Devon with one day on site.

You will design and deliver plans, monitor progress, manage risks and engage stakeholders across the organisation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and adoption of new systems.

Qualifications

• Formal project management qualification (APM/Prince2/PMD Pro or equivalent)
• Proven success delivering multiple complex projects in a busy environment with varying priorities/budgets/timeframes
• Experience delivering system implementation projects, ideally ERP
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Ability to lead and motivate project teams
• Experience creating and implementing new processes
• Understanding of change management for large-scale implementations

Responsibilities

• Design, adapt and deliver project plans to meet aims and objectives
• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to delivery
• Communicate progress and issues to senior management in project/programme meetings
• Provide PM expertise to sponsors and Senior PM to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and benefits realization
• Manage risks, issues, decisions, actions and benefits tracking
• Collaborate with Change Manager and project team to maximise stakeholder engagement
• Capture lessons learned to improve structures, processes and adoption of new ways of working
