Job summary

TravelCenters of America in the United Kingdom seeks a senior trader to execute EMEA equity transactions and support global execution with best practices. You will engage with investment managers, clients and markets to deliver efficient trade outcomes.

The role emphasizes algorithmic trading, Direct to Market execution and post-trade analysis, contributing to product development and revenue growth within a high-autonomy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related area.
• Postgraduate qualification preferred.
• General Securities Licences required; trading licences preferred; CFA certification preferred.
• Expected to study and receive SIE and Series 7, 55, 66 licenses.
• Previous equity/fixed income trading experience in the brokerage/trading industry.
• Proficiency with securities-related applications, including portfolio OMS, trade order management systems, trading platforms and FIX connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Execute program and/or single-stock equity transactions; contribute to pre-trade and post-trade analysis and best execution.
• Be a member of the EMEA trading team executing a broad array of trading strategies; familiar with algorithmic trading and Direct to Market execution.
• Interface with Portfolio Accounting Systems and Order Management Systems; operate advanced trade order management systems and market-facing execution platforms.
• Support Russell Trading globally, including revenue and client-retention objectives, and coordinate with client relationship management and service teams.
• Participate in strategic discussions and contribute product-development ideas; support marketplace promotion.
