Job summary

Russell Investments Group, LLC is seeking an experienced trader for EMEA and international equity transactions. You will execute a wide range of strategies, support best execution through pre-trade and post-trade analysis, and collaborate with Investment Managers and clients to drive reliable outcomes.

The role involves interfacing with trading systems, risk procedures, and global revenue goals, while contributing to product development and market practices within a leading investment platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related area is required.
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• General Securities Licences are required; CFA certification is preferred.
• Expected to study and receive SIE and Series 7, 55, 66 licenses.
• Previous equity/fixed income trading experience in brokerage/trading is desirable.
• Proficiency with securities-related applications, including OMS, trade order management systems, trading platforms and FIX connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Internal Relationship Management: communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to support efficient delivery and outcomes.
• Trade Execution & Best Execution: execute program and single-stock equity transactions with pre-trade and post-trade analysis.
• Trading Systems & Operational Scale: interface with OMS and trade platforms; support straight-through processing and scale.
• Global Trading, Revenue & Client Retention: support Russell Trading globally and align with revenue and client-retention goals.
• Strategy & Product Development: participate in strategic discussions and contribute product ideas.
• Risk Management & Best Practices: implement best-practice procedures and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Regulatory & Business conduct: execute transactions and maintain high-quality execution procedures.
