Overview

We are looking for a motivated individual with 2-4 years of experience to join our Global Equity Strategy team, part of the investment bank research unit at UBS. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative foundation, familiarity with financial data platforms, and a solid understanding of economics and equity strategy. This role offers exposure to high-impact research and collaboration across teams to shape market views and investment recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of equity strategy research
• Conduct data analysis using Bloomberg, Datastream, and other financial databases
• Build and maintain models and tools in Excel; basic Python skills are required
• Articulate investment views clearly in written and verbal formats for internal and external audiences
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including economics, quant, Strategists, and sector analysts
• Service clients (requests and meetings)

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience (1-3 years of relevant experience in financial markets, strategy, or economics)
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg, Datastream, and similar platforms
• Python and VBA
• Understanding of macroeconomics and its application to equity markets
• Strong communication skills with the ability to express complex ideas clearly
• Collaborative mindset and ability to manage inputs across multiple teams
