You have the opportunity to join a well-renowned, established investment management firm with a strong track record, managing over $10bn across their equity franchise.

Global Equity (Energy) Analyst position - Your chance to delve into Sustainable and Traditional energy equity analysis, mainly focused on energy transition and clean energy.

The Position

  1. You will be responsible for managing your own universe of Energy equities, engaging in deep fundamental analysis.
  2. Build and continuously update detailed financial models from scratch to maintain accurate valuations.
  3. Identify new investment ideas and pitch them to the team for inclusion in the equity funds.
  4. Analyze the broader Energy industry and value chain, considering ESG factors, innovation, and regulation.
  5. Evaluate specific holdings within the portfolio and make recommendations to Portfolio Managers based on your analysis.
  6. Interact with key stakeholders in the Energy sector through management discussions, site visits, and industry conferences to gain primary insights.

You

  • Have 2-6 years of equity research experience, preferably with some background in the Energy sector, though not essential.
  • Possess a strong interest in deep fundamental due diligence with a medium to long-term perspective.
  • Currently pursuing the CFA qualification is advantageous.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively within a close-knit team, with the ability to work independently and with meticulous attention to detail.
