Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Junior Associate Product Controller in the EMEA Equity Capital Markets Product Control team.

You will help ensure accurate financial records and robust governance across regions, partnering with multiple stakeholders to strengthen the control environment and support business growth. The role focuses on daily P&L and balance sheet reporting, month/quarter-end closes, and regulatory change execution, including Volcker reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong double-entry skills.
• Experience in financial control or product control roles.
• Ability to identify and resolve control and risk issues affecting financial results.
• Strong analytical and detail orientation with a control mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily profit and loss and risk reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close, ensuring correct income statement and balance sheet.
• Analyze revenue drivers and balance sheet movements and link activity to results.
• Execute legal entity and regulatory changes, including Volcker Reporting and transfer pricing impacts.
• Collaborate with Financial Control teams to review EMEA GIB variances.
• Participate in finance projects, including tech enhancements and global initiatives.
• Challenge control models and implement effective processes.
• Contribute to internal audits and risk reviews from a finance perspective.
• Ensure compliance with control policies, standards, and procedures.
• Build partnerships with deal teams, business management, middle office, and tech.
• Support future operating models and system enhancements.
