As we expand our influence and modernise our offering, we are now seeking to appoint a Global Director of Training and Skills to join our Executive team and play a critical role in shaping the future of technical education and certification worldwide.

This is a strategic and highly influential role, reporting directly to the incoming CEO Caroline Gumble, and responsible for the global vision, delivery, and continuous evolution of TWI’s training, examination, and certification portfolio. You will lead and inspire an international team, setting the standard for excellence in skills development, and ensuring TWI remains at the forefront of industry training and regulatory compliance. From advancing operational effectiveness to enhancing candidate experience, your remit will include oversight of curriculum design, examination and assessment frameworks, regulatory engagement, and strategic business development across multiple territories.

As a member of the Executive Team, you will also work collaboratively to deliver ambitious transformation initiatives, strengthen financial performance, and drive long-term value across all areas of the business. With a commercial mindset and an unwavering focus on quality, you will identify and capitalise on global opportunities to scale our training and certification services while maintaining ethical and professional integrity.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in technical training, skills assessment, and international certification frameworks, paired with significant leadership experience within complex, multi-stakeholder organisations. You will be a visionary and strategic thinker, able to balance innovation with regulatory rigour, and commercial performance with service excellence. You will have demonstrable success in growing global operations, forging partnerships, and influencing at board level, with the agility and insight to shape a truly world-class training offering.
