- Establish accountability for delivery, technical quality and risk.
- Build an engineering organisation across the United Kingdom and India.
- Recruit, develop and retain engineering talent.
- Oversee integration of hardware, firmware and software into one product system.
- Ensure designs address performance, reliability, safety and cybersecurity.
- Coordinate hardware, firmware and software releases for major product launches.
- Implement design-review processes involving cross-functional teams.
- Plan headcount, tools, budgets and supplier arrangements.
