Job summary

Sherwin-Williams seeks a Global Director, Engineering to shape the future of Protective Coatings and Passive Fire Protection on a worldwide scale. You will lead the global engineering function, driving technical excellence, innovation and customer value across regions.

This leadership role requires strategic vision, building high-performing teams, influencing industry standards, and guiding complex infrastructure, industrial, marine and energy projects on a global stage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Fire Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related discipline.
Master's degree preferred.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.

Responsibilities

Own the global engineering strategy for Protective Coatings and Passive Fire Protection.
Define the roadmap for engineering services, fire engineering, technical support, digital tools, and capability development.
Align resources and investments with business priorities and growth objectives.
Lead and develop a global engineering organization across regions (Americas, EMEAI, APAC).
Establish operating model, service standards, and governance for engineering work.
Provide final technical authority for complex fire engineering evaluations and methodologies.
