OUR ROLE – GLOBAL DEMAND PLANNER – ROYAL COPENHAGEN

This role is key in shaping how we plan for the future—so we can serve our customers with precision, efficiency, and consistency.

Reporting to our global supply chain team, this hybrid role will be based at our Barlaston, United Kingdom location.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the forecasting expert who helps turn insight into action and plans into performance.

  • Lead the development of demand forecasts at the SKU level—short-term (0–3 months) and long-term (3–18 months)
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, retail, and customer service teams to factor in promotions, new product launches, and market trends
  • Measure and continuously improve forecast accuracy, bias, and forecast value add (FVA)
  • Play a key role in our global planning transformation—standardizing processes and driving best practices across the business
  • Use scenario planning and risk analysis to help the business prepare for what’s ahead
  • Collaborate with supply planning and inventory teams to align demand with supply
  • Leverage tools and automation to streamline planning processes and reduce manual work
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs, helping stakeholders understand risks, gaps, and opportunities

  • Forecasting pro: You’re skilled in demand planning tools like SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or Oracle—and love using data platforms like Excel, SQL, or Python to make smarter decisions
  • Analytical thinker: You’re confident building statistical models and making sense of complex trends

  • Certified: APICS certifications (like CPIM or CSCP) are a strong plus
