Job summary

ViiV Healthcare, based in London, is seeking a Data Governance Lead to strengthen data quality and governance across Europe and International operations. You will lead policies, monitor quality, and coordinate with IT, Compliance, and business leaders to support informed decision-making.

The role emphasizes collaboration, regulatory awareness, and continuous improvement, with a hybrid working model requiring 2–3 days onsite weekly at the London HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Information Management, Business, or Data Science.
• Strong experience years’ experience in data quality, data governance, information technology or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience working collaboratively across global & local cross-functional teams and stakeholders being able to influence decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex information clearly and tying to data to the commercial strategy.
• Proficient in using data quality and governance tools or platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards across business functions.
• Monitor data quality metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with data owners and business teams to identify data risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Build and manage relationships with IT, Compliance, and business leaders.
• Support the delivery of training, awareness, and engagement activities to promote data governance best practices.
• Guide and support the implementation of data governance tools, processes, and technologies.
