Job summary

EY Manchester seeks a Senior Cyber Incident Response Coordinator to lead global cybersecurity incident management, coordinating responses to incidents and liaising with General Counsel, Data Privacy, Risk Management, and IT teams for consistent handling.

Requires 7+ years in SOC/incident roles, strong communication, and hands-on incident response, forensics, and on-call rotation experience. Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS/IS/Engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years’ experience in at least two roles: SOC Analyst/Manager, Cybersecurity Incident Coordinator, Threat Intelligence, Detection Engineering, or related functions.
• Experience with SIEM technologies (e.g. Splunk, Sentinel) and forensic methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate response efforts to cybersecurity incidents including nontraditional hours.
• Interface with lawyers, data privacy, risk management, and IT teams to ensure aligned incident handling.
• Develop and improve incident response processes and playbooks.
