Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new customs business opportunities in collaboration with vertical commercial sales teams, global operational teams and through own initiatives.
- Define target accounts and establish strategies to secure them.
- Analyse the domestic customs brokerage market, mapping relevant verticals, customers, and industry trends.
- Assess market trends and opportunities, translating these into new customs approaches.
- Reconcile new approaches against existing product designs and responses.
- Focus on technical and commercial product development.
- Develop a go-to-market approach and value proposition for the customs services standalone product.
- Support country customs teams to establish standalone products and teams.
- Increase connectivity with customers, suppliers, internal partners, and customs authorities.
- Establish strong relationships with clients' financial decision-makers as their single point of contact for all lines of business.
- Manage client relationships by conducting visits to understand their cross-border trade requirements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the commercial customs organization, including Key Account and Field Sales, regarding customs brokerage-related opportunities.
- Support commercial team strategy with MARCOM approach both internally and externally including: Internal SharePoint, External website, Webinars both customer and internal including lead generation and Newsletters.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to design and execute growth strategies, identify target accounts, and secure new business across international and domestic markets.
- Strong capability in analysing customs brokerage trends, mapping verticals, and translating insights into actionable product and commercial strategies.
- Significant experience in customs management.
- Experience and participation with trade associations, embassies, customs authorities, and other government organisations.
- Experience with digital tools and technologies to enhance connectivity and automation.
- Excellent commercial acumen, communication, and negotiation skills.
