About Our Client

Our client are an industry leading, specialist manufacturer with multiple sites globally. To support business wide objectives they are looking for a Global Customer Service Manager to join them at their offices in the North East. This is a critical role in the business and will have strategic and operation responsibility for Global Customer Service

Job Description

  • Lead the Global Customer Service function to deliver world class service to B2B customer during each integration, managing teams in the North East and remote teams globally
  • Lead the programme to implement a new ERP systems across customer service in the UK & Globally
  • Create and implement standardised process and procedures within global customer service, across all sites
  • Manage a supply chain & order management focused CS function to deliver against key performance metrics
  • Work with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Commercial & Production to drive improvements across the end to end customer journey
  • Where possible - use automation, systems and technology to improve the customer order life-cycle, removing manual processes where possible

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience leading a similar Customer Service / Order Management function
  • Experience or involvement in the implementation of ERP systems
  • Understanding of customer supply chain / Order Management journey
  • Ability to implement and improve process and procedures to deliver stronger outcomes

What's on Offer

£60,000 - £70,000 Salary depending on experience - e plus Company Car / Car Allowance and 10% Bonus. Life Assurance, Private Medical and Strong company pension.

The role will be based predominantly on site in the North East with occasional Hybrid working on offer.



Situated centrally in the North East, the location is easily commutable from Durham, Hartlepool, Middlesborough, Sunderland
