Job summary

A leading institutional asset management firm is seeking a Credit Trader for their Fixed Income trading desk in London. The ideal candidate will trade High Yield and Emerging Market debt and must have at least 2 years of corporate bond trading experience. Strong knowledge of fixed income markets and a proactive approach to work are essential. Collaborative skills will be required to develop relationships with Portfolio Managers and brokers.

• Minimum 2 years' corporate bond trading experience at a buy-side or sell-side institution.
• Highly numerate with a proactive nature.

Our client, a leading institutional asset manager, is looking to hire a Credit Trader to join the Fixed Income trading desk in London. This individual will primarily focus on trading High Yield and Emerging Market debt.

Key responsibilities:

• Trading of High Yield and Emerging Market debt with additional support for other fixed income products.
• Develop close working relationships with Portfolio Managers, providing insight on market sentiment, trading environment, trading flows, and price changes.
• Monitor trading to ensure best execution at all times.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with brokers, ensuring the highest standard of professionalism and service.
• Undertake market-related research including knowledge of all relevant regulatory, technical, and compliance issues.

Experience & Skills required:

• Minimum 2 years' corporate bond trading experience at a buy-side or sell-side institution.
• Sound knowledge of fixed income markets.
• Highly numerate.
