Job summary

TRP Recruitment ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to lead global cosmetics supplier development and expand manufacturing capacity. You will leverage an extensive Far East network and work with senior leadership to shape sourcing strategy and drive growth across cosmetics and personal care.

The role requires deep knowledge of cosmetics manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and supplier performance. Strong negotiation and travel to partner sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a senior sourcing or supply chain role within the cosmetics, beauty or personal care industry.
• Established network of cosmetics manufacturers and suppliers across the Far East and EU.
• Experience onboarding and developing new suppliers and expanding international manufacturing capacity.
• Strong technical understanding of cosmetics manufacturing processes, product formulations, ingredients, packaging and development requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of cosmetics quality assurance, regulatory compliance and product safety standards.
• Strategic, entrepreneurial and proactive in identifying new markets and sourcing opportunities.
• Willingness to travel internationally to visit manufacturing partners and explore new sourcing opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and expand the global supplier and manufacturing network, focusing on cosmetics manufacturers across the Far East.
• Leverage factories, contract manufacturers and sourcing partners to unlock new production opportunities and increase capacity.
• Research and identify new sourcing markets, manufacturing capabilities and opportunities to diversify the supply chain.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers across international markets.
• Evaluate potential manufacturing partners based on capabilities, quality, capacity and compliance.
• Demonstrate understanding of cosmetics manufacturing processes, formulations, ingredients and packaging requirements.
• Negotiate competitive terms and establish sustainable, long‑term supplier relationships.
• Monitor developments across global cosmetics sourcing markets and travel to supplier meetings and visits as required.
