Job summary

Global Law Firm is seeking an experienced Contracts Lawyer to join its Risk & Compliance function. The role focuses on advising on client and supplier contracts, managing contractual risk, and supporting commercial and regulatory objectives across multiple jurisdictions.

We require 8+ years' PQE and a strong track record in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, with solid knowledge of data protection and regulatory requirements for professional services firms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' PQE in private practice, in-house legal or risk & compliance environments.
• Strong experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of professional services contracts and associated legal risks.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to law firms.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to balance legal risk with commercial priorities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate client engagement terms, supplier agreements, framework agreements, SLAs and other commercial contracts.
• Advise stakeholders on contractual obligations, legal risks and compliance considerations.
• Support negotiations with clients and suppliers to achieve commercially balanced outcomes.
• Provide guidance on key contractual provisions including liability, indemnities, confidentiality, intellectual property, termination rights, insurance requirements and data protection.
