Job summary

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA is seeking a Container Control Coordinator to join the team at the Ipswich head office. This full-time, permanent role focuses on recording container movements, stock control, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

You will ensure accurate records and timely reporting, supporting daily operations across depots and depots abroad. The role requires proactive problem-solving, strong numeracy and IT skills, and a collaborative approach to

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage and forward plan within a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Ability to address and resolve day to day business issues with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills, including Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Control of all container stocks and stock levels at ports, depots and railheads.
• Accurate & timely preparation of daily/weekly reports to UK Management.
• Management of events ensuring prompt and accurate updates in systems.
• Communicate with inland depots on daily basis regarding container matters.
