Job summary

Willow Resourcing is seeking an Interim Compliance Manager for a well-established Insurance broker. The role reports to the CEO and covers UK, EU, Middle East and US regulatory oversight on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

You will maintain the compliance framework, implement Financial Crime controls in new product approvals, own the Enterprise Risk Management framework, and act as the data protection SME for the business across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Experienced senior compliance professional with strong general insurance experience.
• Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements including UK ICOBS and EU IDD.
• Knowledge of Financial Crime regulations in the UK and EU.
• Experience in AR model environments and international work is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments across UK, EU, Middle East and US; maintain and update the compliance framework to ensure local regulatory compliance in each jurisdiction.
• Implement and ensure compliance with Financial Crime framework and embed financial crime risk in new product approvals.
• Own and maintain the Enterprise Risk Management framework, including risk register, risk appetite, and control effectiveness reviews.
• Operate as the data protection SME for the business.
