Taylor Root is seeking an experienced legal professional to provide strategic legal support across its commodity trading and shipping operations, advising on complex, cross-border transactions in a fast-paced international environment.

The role involves partnering with commercial teams, ensuring governance compliance, and delivering pragmatic advice while managing relationships with external panel firms in one of the world's leading natural resources businesses.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5+ PQE as a common law qualified lawyer.
• Ideal in-house exposure, preferably in commodities.
• Experience in commodity trading or trade finance.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for cross-border agreements.
• Familiar with Incoterms, ScoTA, LME and trade finance structures.

Aufgaben

• Providing legal advice to the commodity trading business in line with our strategy and values.
• Understanding governance requirements and enabling stakeholders to navigate them efficiently.
• Working with a team of lawyers across the group to deliver pragmatic advice.
• Managing relationships with key external stakeholders, including panel firms.
