Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to work across the UK and overseas, bringing complex machinery to life and helping grow a commissioning department in Nelson.

You’ll split your time roughly 60/40 between the workshop and customer sites, commissioning machinery in the workshop and fault-finding on production lines on site. UK trips are short and overseas assignments can be two to four weeks with notice.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ commissioning experience.
• 50/50 mechanical and electrical skill set.
• Confidence fault-finding Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi PLCs.
• Comfort with pneumatics and useful industry experience (food/pharma/paper/packaging).

Responsibilities

• Commission machinery in workshop and ensure it is ready to go.
• Fault find on customer sites to get production lines running.
• Travel UK and overseas projects with notice; manage 2-4 week international assignments.
