Job summary

Coventry University Group is seeking a commercially focused Solicitor to work on high-profile legal matters within a global organisation. You will support innovative research initiatives, strategic partnerships and commercial projects, drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements and advising on legal risk and compliance.

The role requires strong negotiating skills and the ability to manage a varied workload across international and academic partnerships.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent).
• Experience in a commercial legal environment.
• Strong drafting, reviewing and negotiating of commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including commercial contracts, research collaborations, academic partnerships, technology agreements and international arrangements.
• Advise stakeholders on legal risk, compliance and contract strategy to deliver practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide clear, pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of matters.
