Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to join the Small Gas Turbines Project Management team. You will co-lead with the Technical Project Manager, manage budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and contract administration within SAP, ensuring compliance with GAAP/FRG and internal controls.

You will drive risk assessment and cash-flow optimization across international projects. The role emphasizes financial governance, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement in project

Qualifications

• Qualified professionals with CMAI/ACCA/CIMA and PM certification preferred.
• Experience in commercial project management and project controlling.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/FRG and international project environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial documents for project status meetings and ensure data accuracy.
• Forecast revenue, profit, and cash flow; record project books in SAP accurately.
• Initiate invoicing aligned with progress and contractual terms to optimize cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP, FRG, and internal controls.
• Identify and assess project risks and opportunities with the Technical PM.
• Manage contract administration, claims, and change orders.
• Co-lead negotiations on contracts, claims, and change orders with stakeholders.
• Oversee financial guarantees, bonds, and project securities.
• Collaborate with PMs to optimize financial results per standards and customer needs.
• Support lessons-learned initiatives and minimize non-conformance costs.
• Align customer expectations with execution and governance requirements.
