Freshfields is a global law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our high-performing Legal Department. You will provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice, review and negotiate client-facing agreements, advise on procurement, and support transformation projects.

We value collaborative, proactive lawyers with post-qualification experience in commercial matters, able to manage a varied workload and influence stakeholders across an international network.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on commercial contracts (e.g. master services agreements, joint ventures, cooperation agreements, consultancy agreements).
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience in tech, procurement or related commercial matters is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to stakeholders across the firm.
• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of client-facing commercial agreements.
• Advise on procurement and supplier arrangements and help secure commercially appropriate outcomes.
• Support strategic departmental and firmwide initiatives and transformation projects.
• Develop guidance, templates and best practice resources for colleagues; deliver training and awareness sessions.
