Job summary

IDP Education in the UK invites experienced Solution Architects to join our Global Information Services team. You will design and deliver scalable, secure architectures supporting IELTS and other learning services, engaging with partners worldwide.

This role is based in the UK with preference for candidates near Cambridge and offers a flexible home-based setup with regular office visits. You'll lead cloud-native design, mentor architecture communities, and work across the technology lifecycle

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years' proven experience in solution architecture with SaaS and cloud-native services.
Expert-level proficiency in AWS cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, and modern DevOps.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset with continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable SaaS solutions aligned with IDP's roadmap.
Lead innovation initiatives using AWS serverless, containers, and event-driven patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global partners for seamless integration.
Mentor teams, share best practices, and raise architectural standards across groups.
Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance learner experiences and system agility.
Advise senior leadership by translating technical concepts into business value.
