Job summary

CSL is seeking an Associate Director, Global Clinical Scientist to lead and influence the hematology clinical program within the Clinical Development group. The role involves external innovation assessment, due diligence, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality clinical outputs.

The position is hybrid with at least three onsite days per week, and relocation or visa sponsorship are not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field; MSc/PhD preferred.
• 8+ years of clinical research experience in clinical development functions.
• Experience leading matrix teams and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific leadership in hematology clinical programs and ensure alignment with clinical development plans.
• Provide input for the safe, efficient, and timely execution of studies ensuring high quality outputs.
• Author or contribute to protocols, ICFs, study training materials and manuals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate study protocols into operational deliverables.
• Define medical monitoring and oversight strategies to ensure patient safety and data integrity.
• Support external study oversight committees and regulatory interactions.
• Contribute to analyses, publications, and regulatory submissions; support clinical strategy development.
• Participate in multidisciplinary groups to drive process improvements.
