Account Manager Role

Join Qlik as a Global Client Executive, taking charge of enterprise accounts with a strategic focus. In this role, you will independently identify and acquire new customers, as well as upsell to existing accounts. You will collaborate closely with Qlik partners, presales, and consulting teams to drive success in a dynamic environment. This role is interesting because:

  • Strategic Autonomy: Develop and execute account plans focused on enterprise accounts, leading independently.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Engage at a CxO level, orchestrating activities to ensure ongoing relationships and customer success aligned with Qlik's value proposition.
  • Collaborative Sales: Work with partners and resellers to maximize revenue within assigned accounts.
  • Market Insight: Leverage your knowledge of the Data and Business Intelligence ecosystem to navigate the dynamic landscape your customers operate across.
Impact You Will Make
  • Account Development: Develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify and acquire new customers, upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
  • Partnerships: Assist partners and resellers in sales cycles, including Proof of Concept demos.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate contracts to closure, ensuring smooth processes.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Customer Success: Understand customer business deeply and promote Qlik's value.
  • C-Level Engagement: Engage with senior decision-makers at a strategic level.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 7 years of successful sales experience in enterprise software, managing complex sales cycles.
  • Understanding of the Data and Business Intelligence market.
  • Ability to create proposals considering revenue recognition and royalty structures.
  • Experience working with partners and resellers to maximize revenue.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently within a matrixed organization.
  • Ideally, experience with Big Data, Data Integration, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Databases, and Business Intelligence products.
  • Track record of selling to senior decision-makers and a network of senior contacts within enterprises.
Location

This role is based in the UK — London, Reading, or remote.
