Job summary

Eton Bridge Partners is partnering with a global private equity-backed construction services business to appoint its next Chief Financial Officer. Operating across 15 countries, the company seeks a high-impact finance leader to drive performance, strengthen financial discipline and support a future exit strategy.

You will lead the financial agenda as a key Group Executive Committee member, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution across WIP, cash management and project economics to

Qualifications

• Finance leadership experience within project-based, contract-driven or principal-risk environments.
• Exposure to sectors such as design & build, construction, engineering, professional services or other complex project-led international businesses.
• Strong understanding of WIP, project economics, cash flow management and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Experience operating in leveraged, cash-focused or performance improvement environments.
• A commercially minded, hands-on leadership style and a genuine appetite for building and developing teams.
• Experience of M&A, private equity or exit-related activity would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead group cash management, forecasting, liquidity planning and working capital performance.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and operational performance across the business.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global finance function.
• Enhance board, lender and investor reporting, supporting the wider value creation strategy.
• Drive improvements in billing, collections, project performance and financial controls.
• Support exit readiness planning and strategic decision-making.
