About the Role
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in our dynamic global procurement environment?
We're looking for a dedicated Global Category Specialist to join our team, reporting directly to a Global Category Manager, in this role you will manage critical categories with a spend of approximately £70 million across Inks & Cutting Tools, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business, to ensure that strategies are successfully implemented to drive category outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include (but not limited):
Collaborate with a wide range of global stakeholders across the business to drive category outcomes.
Co create and implement strategies to ensure successful category management.
Manage highly critical and complex categories, including Inks & Cutting Tools.
Lead the completion of a high exposure and high profile global project.
Maintain security of supply in a challenging Cutting Tools market.
Ensure delivery on FY25 targets, safeguarding targeted savings of £2.12 million.
About you
University Graduate in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on category management.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Ability to navigate complex and challenging market environments.
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
