Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking a Calibration Technician to assemble, test and calibrate high-precision electromechanical devices used in laboratories and production facilities worldwide. The role involves international travel and in-house calibration activities, with expenses paid for travel.

You’ll join a team focused on precision, quality, and compliance, working on instrumentation for diverse industries. Some travel to Telford and abroad is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in test and calibration of electro-mechanical devices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Background in testing electro-mechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision instruments and handheld devices.
• Test and calibrate throughout the build process to ensure accuracy before units are closed; coordinate with calibration labs for service checks and compliance.
• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and precision.
• Handle devices for industries where accuracy is critical, including brewing, canning, and food packaging.
