INTRODUCING RLabs

RLabs is a new business unit being launched by Reflo, operating as a distinct arm of the company focused on delivering premium, sustainable apparel and merchandise to corporate partners.

ABOUT THE ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Unit Leadership & Development

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for RLabs as a standalone business unit.
  • Define the R Labs - “Powered by Reflo” proposition aimed at corporate clients.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to refine positioning, pricing, and product strategy.
  • Build the R Labs brand as a trusted supplier of sustainable products.
  • Identify opportunities to extend our product range beyond Reflo’s mainline, into bespoke, sustainable merchandise.
  • Lead sourcing and development of new products aligned with Reflo’s sustainability and quality criteria.
  • Work with suppliers to sample, quote, and launch new products that meet corporate needs.
  • Curate compelling B2B catalogues tailored to industry sectors and use cases.

Sales & Business Development

  • Own the sales pipeline for R Labs, from lead generation to contract close.
  • Identify and nurture relationships with procurement teams, HR departments, and corporate buyers.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships and secure repeat clients.
  • Collaborate with key partners and distributors to unlock new sectors and markets.
  • Own and manage the P&L for RLabs.
  • Create and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and margin targets.
  • Develop pricing strategies to ensure profitability across product lines and projects.
  • Analyse performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Use Apparel Magic and other tools to manage clients, orders, and forecasting.
  • Support the setup of a white-label B2B portal for seamless client ordering and fulfilment.
  • Oversee 3PL relationships and fulfilment logistics to ensure timely delivery and stock management.
  • Recruit and manage a small commercial team as the business grows.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members to drive performance.
  • Set KPIs and ensure a collaborative, results-oriented culture aligned with Reflo values.
  • Partner with internal Reflo teams to ensure product development, operations, and sourcing align with sustainability standards.
  • Work with marketing to develop RLabs-specific assets, case studies, and pitch decks.
  • Leverage Reflo’s existing sponsorship and supply chain ecosystem to scale faster.

Compliance, Risk & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to legal, sustainability, and industry compliance standards.
  • Protect client confidentiality and deliver consistent quality across all products and services.
  • Create systems for contract, pricing, and stock management transparency.

ABOUT YOU

ESSENTIALS

  • 12+ years of senior management experience in B2B sales, corporate merchandise, or private-label programs.
  • Experience managing a business unit or launching a new venture.
  • Financially literate with experience managing P&L and budgets.
  • Strong understanding of product sourcing and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship-builder.
  • Passion for sustainability and innovation in product development.
