Job summary

Global Banking School in Birmingham is seeking a Lecturer in Business to teach across undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Global Business Management programme in partnership with University Of Suffolk.

The role requires delivering modules, developing course materials, assessing students, and staying current in the field; flexibility to teach weekdays, evenings and weekends; minimum a Master’s degree, UK HE lecturing experience, and ability to work with diverse groups.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
• Ability to demonstrate extensive knowledge of the subject matter.
• Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.
• Experience of accurate reporting and maintaining student records.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess student work ensuring learning outcomes.
• Develop, update, and improve course materials.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and materials.
• Engage in staff development activities and administrative duties.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in the field and student support practices.
• Work toward defined objectives for attendance and progression.
