Job summary

Zodiac Maritime in London seeks an experienced General Fleet Manager – Operations to oversee and optimize the bulk fleet operations. You will drive safety, efficiency, and profitability while mentoring a high-performing team and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will coordinate with Charterers and commercial teams to maximise fleet utilisation and implement strategic initiatives across global operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in fleet operations with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in global bulk fleet management and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient operation of all bulk fleet vessels.
• Provide guidance on navigation, cargo operations, stowage, and mooring.
• Manage voyage instructions and Charter Party terms communication.
• Drive fleet performance and cost efficiency through best practices.
• Lead risk management, incident response, and QHSSE collaboration.
• Mentor crewing teams to ensure skilled personnel onboard.
