Job Description

The Global Project Management Office (GPMO) team is seeking a highly strategic Global Best Practices Lead. This role will lead our Best Practice team within the GPMO for the Central Reliability & Maintenance Engineering Team (C-RME). The position is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of complex engineering projects through strategic oversight, coordination, and leadership.

The Global Best Practices Lead will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, improve quality standards, and innovate project management practices on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement program management strategies to meet project scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals.
  2. Lead and support a team of Project Managers and Engineers to ensure successful project execution.
  3. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, risk assessments, and progress reports.
  4. Work with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  5. Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  6. Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across projects.
  7. Promote continuous improvement by refining project management processes.
  8. Manage relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction.
  9. Stay informed on industry best practices and engineering advancements to foster innovation.
  10. This position involves international travel up to 25%.
About the Team

The Global RME PMO provides a centralized project management solution for continuous improvement, best practices, technical service bulletins, corrective actions, and reliability improvements. Our goal is to manage projects through a stage-gate process from intake to completion and reporting.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience leading program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience in project or program management.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes, automation, or standardization.
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements.
  • Experience with Automated technology for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Robotics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related fields.
  • Experience leading process improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of Asana Project Management Platform.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience manipulating and analyzing data.
