Imperial Brands is seeking a Global Benefits & Wellbeing Lead to shape a cohesive, enterprise-wide benefits landscape while advancing a worldwide wellbeing agenda. You will collaborate with Legal, Tax, Finance, DE&I and external partners to deliver value and compliant programmes across markets.

The role focuses on establishing standards, maintaining local relevance, and driving measurable improvements in employee experience and engagement.

Would you like to be part of an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees? Imperial Brands has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Global Benefits & Wellbeing Lead to join our global People & Culture organisation.

This is a newly created role and a unique opportunity to bring together a benefits landscape that has historically been managed locally across different markets. You will help establish a more consistent enterprise-wide approach, creating global standards while retaining the flexibility needed to remain locally relevant.

Alongside benefits, you will lead the development of our global wellbeing agenda, ensuring our programmes are competitive, inclusive, evidence-based, compliant and financially sustainable.

Working closely with colleagues across P&C, Reward, Finance, Legal, DE&I and our external partners, you will play a key role in improving the employee experience and ensuring our investment in benefits and wellbeing delivers measurable value.

Principle Accountabilities

• Develop and deliver the global benefits strategy, creating a clear enterprise-wide framework that balances market competitiveness, internal equity, cost effectiveness and appropriate local flexibility.
• Lead the global wellbeing agenda, designing scalable and evidence-based programmes that support employee engagement, resilience, inclusion and retention.
• Assess and evolve the current benefits landscape, using market benchmarking, employee insights, utilisation data and analytics to identify opportunities and shape future priorities.
• Establish strong governance and compliance, working with Legal, Tax, Finance and local P&C teams to ensure benefits and wellbeing programmes meet global standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Lead vendor and financial management, including supplier selection, commercial negotiations, service levels, performance oversight, benefits budgets and opportunities to improve value and efficiency.
• Drive stakeholder alignment, communication and adoption, partnering with Performance & Reward, People Experience, DE&I, Strategic Business Partners, Internal Communications, Talent Acquisition and technology partners to embed the strategy across the organisation.

Skills and Experience Required

• Extensive global benefits experience, with a strong track record of designing and implementing benefits strategies across a large, complex and multi-country organisation.
• Proven experience bringing together locally managed benefits, creating a more consistent global framework while maintaining appropriate market flexibility.
• Strong wellbeing strategy experience, with evidence of developing and implementing wellbeing programmes as part of a broader benefits, reward or employee experience proposition.
• Strong commercial and vendor management capability, including supplier negotiations, performance management, budgeting and value realisation.
• Highly analytical and data-driven, with experience using market data, utilisation insights and employee feedback to shape strategy and measure impact.
• Strong stakeholder and change leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, build effective partnerships and translate strategy into practical implementation across multiple markets.
