How you can make an Impact

The Global Benefits & Mobility Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of employer paid benefits programs outside the U.S. and owning the governance, policy, compliance reviews, and approval processes for the company’s global mobility program. The role partners cross-functionally and provide leadership and oversight for international benefits and mobility operations, vendor relationships, and centralized mobility case intake, review, and recommendations, while driving process improvements to enhance employee experience, ensure compliance, manage cost, and improve operational efficiency. This role requires the use of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance related to global benefits strategy and the governance of mobility processes.

This position is a remote position, and candidates must be authorized to work for any employer within the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Manage non-U.S. benefit programs, including renewals, vendor monitoring, plan changes, and benchmarking.
  • Oversee compliance with statutory requirements, regulatory updates, and internal policies for all countries supported.
  • Maintain strong relationships with benefits brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as an escalation point for vendor and employee benefit issues.
  • Manage centralized intake and compliance review for all cross-border moves, evaluating immigration, tax, payroll, benefits, cost modeling, and pay considerations.
  • Partner with immigration, relocation, and tax vendors to ensure compliance and timely case completion.
  • Prepare written recommendation memos for HRBPs and business leaders outlining go/no-go guidance, estimated costs, and compliance implications.
  • Advise on visa strategy, mobility classification, and benefits/tax implications for moves.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes, workflows, tracking systems, and governance documentation.
  • Maintain centralized records, cost tracking, and reporting for mobility and benefits compliance and audits.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improved data accuracy.
  • Guide the work of the Global Benefits & Mobility Specialist to ensure balanced workloads and role clarity.
  • Support the Sr. Director of Global Benefits & Mobility with strategic planning and organizational improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of eight years in international benefits administration and mobility.
  • Experience leading projects across countries and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage others directly or indirectly in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of global benefits design and administration, compliance, vendor management, and familiarity with immigration, tax, and relocation issues.
