Roles & Responsibilities

The Commodities Sales desk in Singapore is looking for a candidate to cover a wide range of corporate clients primarily from Greater China. Team members help strengthen client relationships by partnering with Trading and Strategists, as well as other internal sales teams. On a day-to-day basis, team members will be expected to deliver exceptional client relationship management, expert knowledge across commodity markets & derivative products and have a highly organized approach to growing the overall business.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

  • Flow trade execution and managing the pre and post trade process for clients, which would include liaising with internal stakeholders (e.g. trading, ops, docs, legal, credit, structuring, etc) to ensure positive client experience, seamless trade execution and a co-ordinated approach.
  • Knowledge about financial and macro market movers, and common derivatives products. Commodities background is not required, but would be a plus.
  • Ability to quickly synthesize information, research content, market color, and communicating effectively to clients.
  • Co-ordinating and producing client follow-ups and tailored analysis for clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong academic record with minimum Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and an interest to work on both flow trades as well as longer term projects.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Attention to details. Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage external and internal stakeholders.
