The Royal Engineers are recruiting Army Electricians who receive world-class training to handle electrical projects wherever duty calls. You’ll be trained in electrical engineering, low voltage systems, alarms and power generation, with a career path across the Army and civilian prospects.

You start with structured military training and progress through specialist electrical roles in the Royal Engineers, with opportunities to serve in the UK and overseas.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths at least grade A–C (9–5) or equivalent.
• GCSE English Language at least grade A–C (9–4) or equivalent.
• An additional subject is required.

Responsibilities

• Learn the principles of electrical engineering.
• Work on single and three-phase electrical installations.
• Install low-voltage underground cables.
• Install intruder and fire alarm systems.
• Operate power-generation equipment.
