Job summary

Tsubaki Nakashima Co., Ltd is seeking a Quality Leader to drive the Global Quality Organization. You will ensure products meet ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, and customer requirements while leading APQP, PFMEA, PPAP submissions, and supplier quality initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a Mechanical/Automotive background, 3+ years in quality roles, and experience with lean methods and Six Sigma. This role reports to the Global Quality Manager and requires collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality teams within automotive or related manufacturing sectors.
• Solid understanding of automotive industry standards and OEM requirements.
• Proficiency with quality tools: FMEA, SPC, 8D, and 5 Whys.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP across all five phases for ball and roller manufacturing.
• Facilitate PFMEA to mitigate risks related to heading, flashing and heat treatment.
• Coordinate PPAP submissions for major automotive/industrial OEM customers.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, control plans and inspection standards.
• Evaluate sub-tier suppliers for APQP/PPAP compliance.
• Implement SPC and capability studies for key processes.
• Lead structured root-cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) for nonconformities.
