Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an Applications Engineer to support global deployment of Drilling and Completion Fluids equipment and technology. You will ensure service delivery compliance and adherence to MtJC processes while coordinating with diverse teams.

Responsibilities include improving procedures, training local teams, coordinating installations, and providing remote monitoring and data support to ensure optimal performance at client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Extensive oil field services and technology experience.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of rig equipment and systems.
• Experience with fluid monitoring equipment and field sensors.
• Ability to support Baker Hughes data delivery platforms.

Responsibilities

• Improve DCF equipment processes and update related documentation.
• Provide feedback to DCF technology team on improvements and testing.
• Provide training and resources to local teams to share knowledge.
• Collaborate with other Product Lines on integrated opportunities and deployment strategies.
• Serve as a key communications link with clients and contractors for surveys and installations.
• Manage installation projects from rig surveys to commissioning and data setup.
• Remote monitoring and support of active field equipment.
• Ensure performance, uptime, connectivity and data transmission.
