Deloitte Global Risk and Brand Protection makes an impact by developing programs, processes and resources to preserve, protect and enhance the Deloitte brand. We identify new and emerging risks that could significantly impact the network, mitigate risks as they occur, proactively engage with regulators and key stakeholders that impact professional services, and build a clear voice around select policy topics around the globe.

The Global Anti-Corruption and Financial Crime Compliance team focuses on supporting the Deloitte network in implementing and maintaining holistic and robust Anti-Corruption and Financial Crime Compliance programs that are designed to comply with relevant laws and regulations and monitoring Deloitte firms’ compliance with global policies. The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) lead will report to the Deputy Global Anti-Corruption and Financial Crime Compliance leader.

Role responsibilities:

  • Manage the assessment of Deloitte firms’ compliance with Global AML policies and requirements.
  • Identify emerging risks related to AML globally that could impact the Deloitte network.
  • Lead the process of analyzing AML inspections by local regulators across the Deloitte network including compiling and maintaining inspections data, analyzing this data, and sharing trends with the network.
  • Lead the development of playbooks and guidance for Deloitte firms related to AML compliance.
  • Assist in providing guidance, consultations, and support to Deloitte firms in their implementation of local AML compliance programs.
  • Develop and/or review presentations and communications for various stakeholders.
  • Support talent development of team members, including direct reports, through coaching/mentoring.
  • Be an effective team player and colleague and work together effectively with other team members, other subject matter experts in a remote environment.

  • Relevant experience in AML compliance programs in a global setting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management, organization, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to be self-directed and responsive.
  • Strong executive presence and experience in dealing with senior level stakeholders/clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual and cross border environment.
  • Proven track record of strong coaching and supervision skills.
  • Experience working for a professional services organization providing one or more of the following: financial crime, anti-corruption, regulatory and compliance and other related services to clients.
  • Gap assessment experience and experience in monitoring entities’ compliance with policies and requirements.
  • Familiarity with global AML compliance program requirements, particularly those related to the EU.
