Job summary

NACBA, a leading global Legal and Professional Services firm, seeks a senior Director of AI & Data to drive the firm’s AI and data agenda, translating strategy into a scalable delivery programme and leading cross-divisional, global initiatives that improve productivity and client outcomes.

The role requires strong matrix leadership, governance expertise and the ability to influence board-level stakeholders, with hybrid working from London or the Channel Islands and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience delivering AI, data, digital or technology-enabled transformation within a complex organisation (law firm or professional services firm).
• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide AI adoption programmes and embedding new ways of working at scale.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, data strategy, analytics, governance, architecture and responsible AI practices.
• Experience building data capabilities that support operational effectiveness, business insight and AI deployment.
• Leadership experience building and developing teams with strong mentoring and people skills.
• Demonstrable ability to influence senior stakeholders (board-level) and lead delivery through a matrix organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to evaluate opportunities based on value, feasibility, risk and business impact.
• Excellent programme leadership, prioritisation and governance skills.
• A positive, creative and confident outlook, able to evolve and embed new AI and data processes and platforms on a global level.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's AI and data agenda, driving transformation of ways of working through responsible and scalable use of AI and data.
• Translate strategic priorities into a clear programme of delivery; move initiatives from concept to sustainable business adoption.
• Collaborate across legal, fiduciary and business services divisions on a global basis to improve productivity and client outcomes through AI and data.
• Report to the Director of Service Innovation; exercise strong matrix leadership with senior stakeholders to align priorities and deliver value.
• Oversee AI and Data Strategy and Delivery, Governance and Analytics, Adoption, Change, Capability building, Budget oversight and team management.
