Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics seeks a Global Engine Manager – Aerospace to lead end-to-end onboarding of new engine programs, act as global SME for engine logistics, and drive standardization across regions.

This hybrid role requires 8–12+ years in aerospace or high‑value logistics, strong commercial acumen, and experience with CargoWise. Based in European locations such as London, Milan, or Amsterdam, with responsibilities spanning air, ground, and charter solutions.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in aerospace or high‑value logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace engine handling, AOG operations, airfreight and charter solutions.
• Experience with global operations and multi‑region coordination.
• Proven track record in process standardization and operational governance.
• Strong commercial acumen (pricing, quoting, customer solutions).
• Experience working with TMS platforms (e.g., CargoWise) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global engine program onboarding and serve as global SME for engine logistics.
• Support global quoting operations with standardized pricing, cost modeling, and margin alignment.
• Develop and implement global SOPs, procedures, and work instructions; drive cross‑region standardization.
• Monitor engine shipments across air, ground, charter solutions, and AOG scenarios; ensure service level adherence.
• Establish KPIs and drive reporting, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, IT, Data teams and regional staff to align processes with system capabilities.
