AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Global Engine Manager – Aerospace to lead multi-regional engine programs and deliver standardized, compliant logistics solutions. You will own onboarding, process governance, and global execution across air, ground, and charter shipments, working with Commercial, Operations, and IT teams.

Competenze

• 8-12+ years of aerospace or high-value logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace engine handling, AOG operations, Airfreight and charter solutions.
• Experience with global operations and multi-region coordination.
• Proven track record in process standardization and operational governance.
• Strong commercial acumen (pricing, quoting, customer solutions).
• Experience working with TMS platforms (e.g., CargoWise) is preferred.

Mansioni

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding of new aerospace engine programs.
• Serve as the global SME for engine logistics, including handling, compliance, and service requirements.
• Provide oversight of global engine operations across all regions and stations.
• Support global quoting operations for aerospace engine opportunities; ensure standardized pricing and margins; partner with Commercial teams.
• Develop and implement global SOPs, procedures, and work instructions; drive standardization across engine handling, documentation requirements, and operational workflows.
• Maintain and continuously update global process documentation.
• Monitor execution of engine shipments across air, ground, and charter solutions/AOG and critical shipment scenarios.
• Ensure alignment to service expectations, timelines, and customer SLAs; act as escalation point for complex issues.
• Coordinate with Control Towers and regional teams to ensure execution discipline.
• Establish KPIs for engine operations; drive reporting and governance; identify gaps and lead improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Commercial/Sales/Global Operations/BPO & Shared Services/IT/Data teams; align processes with system capabilities.
